Dr. K. Ravindranath Kancherla is a distinguished pioneer in Indian medicine, widely recognized for his groundbreaking advancements in Surgical Gastroenterology and Laparoscopic Surgery. He founded Global Hospitals, a healthcare institution specializing in multi-organ transplants first time in the country Under his leadership, Global Hospitals has evolved into a premier chain of tertiary care and multi organ transplant hospitals pioneered Liver,heart,lungs,pancreatic and small bowel transplantation setting new benchmarks and high impact in medical care and innovation in India.
Dr. Kancherla established the Global University Foundation (GUF), an organization dedicated to advancing research, and innovation,training and skill development of innovation driven health sciences,life sciences and technology university
The Global Innovation Hub (GIH) serves as the technology arm of GUF. GIH operates as a venture studio, nurturing and accelerating innovative startups and projects that drive transformative impact in healthcare and beyond. Through GIH, Dr.Ravindranath continues to lead efforts in integrating cutting-edge technology with healthcare, furthering his mission to enhance medical innovation and social responsibility.
